Express your interest now for June/July

For post August registrations please scroll down for the link to our digital registration form.

We are excited by the prospect of reopening to our current families and of course for new children and families, who might be considering outdoor nursery for the first time. That being said the full picture and timeline is still unclear – and may vary between sites, especially as two of our sites are currently in operation as key worker hubs.

The government’s latest guidance regarding the phased easing of lockdown restrictions includes outdoor nurseries like ours being allowed to reopen in phase 1. This is an incredible show of support for our environments and method. We also must ensure that opening is safe for staff and children and sustainable as an organisation. We also always seek to do what is best for children and right by families in our care.

Therefore we are asking you to complete the below form so we can start to gauge demand for spaces and the logistics of potential start dates for reopening in different forms/loactions etc.

To fully register from Aug 2020:

During this unusual time visits to our nurseries are currently suspended. We are still accepting registrations and you can learn more about the process & register via our digital form here Registration form – C19

Confused by funding? We can help!

Stramash is the best thing that happened to us since we moved here. My 3 year old loves it because he’s got tonnes of energy and loves being outdoors and I find staff are very approachable, involved, personal and flexible. I’m always sure that he’s in safe hands and has lot of fun. With this start in life I know that he’ll always love Nature.

One of the reasons we moved to Oban was for its outdoor nursery having lived in Glasgow when Maisy was a baby. We wanted both the girls to get a chance to spend time outdoors in all weathers and play freely the way we remember growing up.

We liked idea of preschool being in a non classroom environment. Maisy never realised she was at nursery to learn anything, which is brilliant because she learned so much this way.

Both girls enjoy/enjoyed the vastness of the site and the freedom they have/had to explore and make up games. Both love getting filthy! Making fires is always talked about (as well as marshmallows and making garlic bread ☺ )

They have both had different experiences settling in and one struggles a bit still but I believe she is happier in the outdoor setting than she would be indoors and she always seems to enjoy it by the end of the session. Being the less confident child, I see the biggest changes in her after starting at Stramash.
